White Rose Units
We are delighted to say that we have subscribed to 'White Rose Maths' to bring weekly maths lessons for your child from EYFS to year 6. This is an extremely useful website where maths lessons are 'virtually taught. For each week, each lesson comes with a short video showing you clearly and simply how to help your child to complete the activity successfully. Following the lesson, there are accompanying maths worksheets for children to demonstrate their new learning. These worksheets are available below; please ensure your child does the worksheet that corresponds with his/her lesson.
This is a great opportunity for your child to have mathematical concepts explained to them clearly and pictorially with challenging examples. There is an option to pause the video to practise the new skills being taught. Viking has purchased this resource to aid your child's mathematical skills. (Also feel free to go back to previous weeks to revise learning).
