School Meals Supervisory Assistant – Viking Primary School
Salary £5049pa inclusive + Lunch Allowance - 7.5hrs per week – Term Time Only.
We are a single form entry Primary school, situated just off the A40 in Northolt. We serve an extremely vibrant and diverse population in an area of deprivation, with wonderful children and a very happy parent body. We are committed to achieving our motto ‘Be the best you can be’ in everything we do. Graded as a ‘Good’ school by Ofsted in March 2023.
We are looking to appointment an enthusiastic and reliable School Meals Supervisory Assistant to join our school.
We are looking for someone who can:
- Supervise children and keep them safe in the playground and lunch hall
- Be energetic and take part in promoting and developing co-operative games in the playground
- Manage behaviour positively
- Attend to pupils who are sick or injured, ensuring they receive appropriate medical attention, and reporting any serious accidents
- Work as part of a team
You will:
- Have good communication skills
- Be able to work as part of a team, form good relationships with other colleagues to ensure effective lunchtime supervision
- Be able to form good relationships with the children
- Be able to take charge of groups of children setting and maintaining good standards of behaviour
- Have a first aid qualification or be happy to undertake relevant training
